Unlock The Power Of 7 Transformative Morning Rituals That Shape Your Entire Day

"Empower Your Mornings: Harnessing the Potential of These 7 Habits to Supercharge Your Daily Success"

A morning routine is like a row of dominoes. We set everything up for success, but one wrong step and everything can fall apart. Experts say he needs to adopt the following seven habits to stay in good shape for the rest of his day.

  1. Press the snooze button It's tempting to deprive yourself of sleep for a few more minutes, but naps are bad for your physical and mental health, says Joanna Kleinman, owner of The Extraordinary Relationship Center. "Physically, hitting the snooze button wakes you up from deep sleep repeatedly, making you groggy and less productive," says Kleinman. "Emotionally, the morning will be late, rushed, and stressful." According to Kleinman, the obvious solution is to get out of bed immediately (even if it seems impossible). “Listening to your heart and telling it what you want will never make the positive changes you need,” says Kleinman.
  1. Check your phone
Doing this first thing in the morning stimulates self-criticism and judgment in your mind, says Kleinman. "All your emails and text messages are about things you want to do, buy, or add to your to-do list," she says. "These are either things you want other people to pay attention to or things you think you should pay attention to."

Even if you leave your inbox and stick with Instagram, social media can wreak havoc on your mind as it causes you to compare yourself to others. Conclusion: The first thing to do is check your phone. Doing so may awaken your inner critic. Charge your phone in another room to avoid opening Twitter right after you stop the alarm. Instead, start your day with a self-affirming practice such as journaling or meditation.

Plan your day The day is already starting to get busy when you wake up with no idea what's planned, where you need to go, or what to wear. Psychologist and certified master coach Joel Ingersoll recommends organizing your day the night before. So you will be refreshed and ready to go out in the morning.

Drink Water

You may be craving a cup of coffee as soon as your feet hit the floor, but what your body really needs is a glass of water, Ingersoll says. Since you haven’t had any liquids in your system for at least six (or hopefully eight) hours, your body is dehydrated. You can have the coffee (see below), but your body will function better—you'll have fewer headaches, less fatigue, and smaller bags under your eyes—if you down a glass of water first, Ingersoll says.

Morning Coffee
You don't have to feel guilty if you reach for your coffee pot after drinking water. It's actually good for you, says Irise Shapiro, R.D. and R.D.N. "Coffee is a great source of antioxidants, which can help boost your energy and stabilize your mood," says Shapiro. "It also helps keep our brains healthier and our minds sharper." However, drinking too much coffee will not help. Limit yourself to 1-2 drinks a day and watch how much you drink. Otherwise, headaches and withdrawal symptoms will occur.

Skip breakfast

Have you ever been told to eat a solid breakfast? “Because it's important,” says Bruno Rogreco, life coach and author of Stop Sabotaging Your Life. "A healthy breakfast with nuts, fruit, and oatmeal will satisfy your brain and help you get through a tough day at the office," says Rogreco. However, donuts and croissants are best skipped as they induce a sugar rush and are prone to crashes once they hit your desk.

Get up early

A study published by the American Psychological Association found that early risers are happier and more successful than those who go to bed late. They tend to be more proactive, perform better, and are better at anticipating and minimizing problems.
